We rely on combined heat and power (CHP) with a gas-fired combined heat and power plant (MICRO-CHP) & storage tank.

What, How and Why?

There are many methods of converting the primary energies oil and gas into electricity, heating and cooling.

In order to conserve the dwindling oil and gas resources, it is a top priority to use them as economically as possible. One efficient method is conversion in a combined heat and power unit. In a combined heat and power unit, electricity and heat are generated simultaneously with an efficiency of up to over 90%.

This relieves the environment and noticeably reduces energy costs.

The special feature of this proven method is:
The heat generated during power generation is usable for you and is not released into the environment with climate-damaging consequences. This is why combined heat and power is rightly regarded as the sustainable energy generation of the future. It is an active contribution to environmental protection. This is why this process is welcomed by environmental associations and supported by the federal government.

In conventional power plants, losses during the conversion of fuel into electricity amount to over 60%. This loss consists mainly of the corresponding heat being discharged unused into the atmosphere or bodies of water. Why is this heat not used? Conventional power plants produce electricity far away from the consumer. This great distance makes it economically impossible to bring the waste heat into residential areas and use it sensibly. This distance has another disadvantage: the electricity produced in the power plant has to be brought to the consumer. Transmission losses occur on the kilometre-long way there.

With cogeneration, electricity is produced directly at the location where it is needed.

This reduces grid costs and eliminates transmission losses. The heat generated at the same time is used up to 90%.

What is the advantage of our CHP system?

Quality does not have to be expensive:
For this reason, we have constructed our CHP for the Power4you system from the most commonly used components in automotive engineering. Our individual parts are therefore produced en masse on a daily basis and have already proven themselves in terms of quality and over the long term.

The „acquisition costs“ for our CHP are worthwhile because our CHP is just as cheap as other conventional heating devices (oil heating, gas boiler, …) and yet it can do more, i.e. generate „additional“ electricity!

What is the difference to other CHPs?

With CHP, combined heat and power, the efficient heat generators today not only provide heat for heating and hot water, but also electricity, which can either be consumed by the homeowner or fed into the public grid.

With our micro power generation system, you produce „exclusively“ the amount of energy you need and can store yourself!

In contrast to large power plants, which usually only generate electricity, the units achieve a significantly higher degree of efficiency. The challenge here, however, is that the CHP electricity can only be generated if the heat produced also finds a buyer at the same time. In the hot summer days, you don’t need heating, but with an additional unit, the heat can also be converted into cold.

Our CHP unit can be operated with all types of gas. We have chosen gas as the primary energy and combined it with state-of-the-art flue gas technology. This guarantees clean combustion. Even conventional gas boilers emit dirty exhaust gas!

Just as the infrastructure exists for the logistics of even cleaner primary energy, such as methanol or hydrogen, you can also run our CHP with it to be even more environmentally friendly.

With our system you become more and more green!

The CHP units usually produce electricity and heat in a ratio of one to three. This means that with one kilowatt of electrical output, CHP units simultaneously produce heat with an output of about three kilowatts. Special nano or micro CHP units have been developed for use in typical single-family homes, which cover the basic heat load in a building with a thermal output of three kilowatts. In order to always be able to provide sufficient heating despite the small output, the CHP units are usually operated together with a gas or oil heating system.

With our Power4you system, you don’t need „any“ other heating systems thanks to the corresponding storage tanks!

Our small CHP as Home Edition produces 3 KWh of electricity and 7-10 KWh of heat per hour, i.e. up to 72 KWh of electricity and up to 168 KWh of heat per day…
